California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

Pheabs is committed to The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) of 2018 which gives customers more control over the use of their content and personal information in the State of California. This gives Californian residents the legal right to request the removal of their personal data from being sold onto third party companies – and for companies to legally enforce this right upon request.

What Information Can I Find Out?

  1. the categories of personal information we collected about you.
  2. the sources from which the personal information was collated.
  3. the business or commercial purpose for which it collected or sold the personal information; and (iv) the categories of third parties with which the business shares personal information.

Category of Information

Examples: Name, address, phone number, military status, employment status, income, social security number, internet protocol address, email address, or other similar identifiers

Source of Information: Consumer, third-party data providers, marketing partners, and advertising partners

Purpose of Collection: For us to provide services, market to you, analyze your use, conduct research, maintain security of our systems and operations, and to meet our legal compliance requirements

Who Do We Share: With Lenders, non-lenders or intermediary service providers, marketing partners, advertising partners, web analytics providers, service providers, vendors, customer support providers, data processing providers, law enforcement, government authorities, parties that legally compel us to share your information

How To Request a Removal Of My Personal Information

At Pheabs, we are passionate about helping Californian’s to exercise their right and they can contact us to request a removal of their personal information by emailing daniel@pheabs.com

To confirm your removal of personal information, we may request the following information to verify your identity – not so it will be used for further marketing purposes:

  1. Your full name;
  2. Physical address;
  3. Phone number;
  4. Email address;
  5. Proof of your identity (e.g. driver’s license or passport); and
  6. A description of what right you want to exercise.

 

We will write to you within 2 business days of your submission and confirm electronically the receipt of your request and that it has been removed as part of the CCPA.

You may request an Authorized Agent if you wish for someone else to handle this request on your behalf. We may require proof of identity or permission for this to take place.

By opting out of our services, we will be unable to help you find an upcoming loan product or offer and you will be required to make a new loan request to be eligible for our loan products. To opt-in, you will need to submit a new request.
